Phemex Market Daily reported on June 15 that the SEC approved the T. Rowe Price Active Crypto ETF with exposure to multiple digital assets, including BTC, ETH, XRP, SOL, DOGE and SHIB.
If this format reaches the market, it changes the logic of institutional access. A spot Bitcoin ETF is a single-asset bet. An active crypto ETF is a basket where a manager can shift risk across different tokens.
For retail users, it looks like a simple product. For the market, it signals that crypto is slowly being packaged into familiar TradFi wrappers.
What to watch next: fees, basket composition, rebalancing rules and whether demand appears beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum.
