Forbes highlighted a problem that is becoming important for Web3: an AI agent cannot simply open a bank account because it hits KYC, CAPTCHA and identity checks. In crypto, the same agent can interact with wallets and stablecoin payments without the traditional banking gate.
That does not mean crypto should become a rule-free zone. It means wallets need to become safer if AI agents start moving real money.
The main question is no longer whether an agent can send a transaction. The main question is who limits the damage if the agent makes a mistake, is hit by prompt injection or receives permissions that are too broad.
What to watch next: spending limits, whitelisted addresses, transaction simulation and separate wallets built for AI agents.
